Thylane Blondeau first lit-up our newsfeeds in 2011, when images from her Tom Ford-edited French Vogue editorials sparked controversy as to whether the super mature images over-sexualized children. The images were intended to be a commentary on this.
Now she appears at age 13 on the cover of French magazine Jalouse - and she is totally age appropriate. And gorgeous.
Clearly too young to do the shows (in New York at least), she could very well bypass the circuit and jump right into editorial work. Aside from her work for French Vogue an now Jalouse, she's also done work for Ralph Lauren.
As creepy as it feels to say, she's clearly got potential. She's a mix of Barbara Palvin and Hailey Clauson and has a face that could make money no matter what. Hopefully she'll have a supportive management team behind her.
