Before Linda Evangelista became a supermodel, she started off doing a modelling course in her hometown of St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada. The course ended up being somewhat of a scam that led to Linda being sent to an agency in Japan for the summer (a scenario many models can relate to) where she was asked to do a shoot naked:
"They wanted me to take my clothes off and shoot me naked. It was a nightmare and I panicked and basically the Canadian Embassy helped me out. I was there about two days and went home, saying, 'I don't want anything to do with this ever again."
Although we are happy Linda continued to model even after that traumatic incident, we are even happier to hear her speak out and have her story heard.
