ABOUT US

The Business Model is a unique online publication committed to providing models with the most up-to-date, useful information available about their ever-changing industry. Launched in June 2013, TBM delivers dependable information on economics, health, travel, and business to models all over the world.

We aim to emphasize the labour dimension to modelling issues and current events. While we support diversity efforts within the industry, expanding a definition of beauty is not a panacea. 

As such, we do not seek to promote or decry modelling as a profession, but rather to support models throughout what can be very complicated experiences. We contend that models, like all workers, deserve to be safe and have their rights upheld in their workplace. 

Please note that we are not a modelling agency. 

OUR TEAM

Jasmine Chorley Foster, Director

Jasmine modelled as a child and teenager, but she stopped modelling to focus on her passions in university. She holds a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Toronto, and is currently a Masters student at the Munk School of Global Affairs. Jasmine is TBM's Co-Director and Editor. Follow Jasmine on Twitter.

Natalia Zurowski, Director

Natalia has modelled in Asia, Europe, and the North America. She holds a B.A. from Western University. She is represented by Lang Models in Toronto. She is TBM's Co-Director and Editor. Follow Natalia on Instagram.

Julia Stone, Beauty Editor

Julia modelled in China, South Africa, and London before pursuing a career as a make-up artist. She is a model and make-up artist represented in both capacities by Plutino Group in Toronto. She is The Business Model's Beauty Editor and pens our Beauty Guides. You can follow her on Twitter and Instagram.
